Inner Peace of Mind!
Why Emotional Resilience?
Many people know that when a woman is pregnant, she is the center of attention! Almost instantly, once the new Mom gives birth, all attention focuses on the newborn and the Mom is quickly overlooked... much more so for the Autism Mom; for years, decades, and seemingly forever!
Therapists, Teachers, Speech, OT, PT, ABA, Behavior Specialists, IEPs, BIPs... alphabet soup! The needs of our children are tremendous!
However, Autism Moms are extremely resilient!!! You don't see us cry... there's no time to cry!!! We have meetings, Autism meltdowns, meals to prepare, I don't want to eat that (for those who are verbal), then we make something different (until they have some sort of nutrition in them), then there's bath time (but the cool water physically hurts... only, we don't know that's why they don't get into the tub)! So where, when, and how does the Autism Mom obtain & maintain her inner calm? By being understood, supported, and encouraged along the way!!! I am here for you: Autism Better Together!!!
Why did I chose to call myself an Intuitive Emotional Resilience Life Coach??? As Mothers, we're innately resilient when it comes to our children; especially the ones with exceptionalities! Oftentimes, we do not apply the same resilience when it comes to our own goals and life plan. That's where I come in! I'm here to help you apply Emotional Resilience to your life in order to Transform Overwhelm to Inner Peace of Mind while Creating the Financially Free Lifestyle that YOUR Family DESERVES!
Self-Discovery. Soul Purpose. Financial Stability. Abundance in EVERY dimension of Wellness!
But, how is this possible if I'm raising a child with Autism??
Answer: They DO NOT have to "miss the boat" in life and neither do you!!!
My son, Anthony, is diagnosed as Autistic. As a human being, he is also humorous and a strong proponent for Justice!
We celebrated his 20th birthday and it went REALLY well! The first birthday without ANY issues!
His recent 21st birthday went VERY well also! There are still challenges that he faces and
sometimes behaviors that he has. However, they are WAY less often and MUCH less intense!
He is consistently using coping skills, communicating his feelings appropriately,
and having "normal" reactions to change!!!!
For 21 years, Autism for my family seemed to be a constant source of stress: behaviors, school meetings, divorce (very common in Autism families), meds or not, immunizations or not, special diet, etc. etc.; all while still being a parent to my two other children. In getting back to a mind space of calm and re-experiencing internal flow uninfluenced by external challenges, I have chosen to walk in my purpose of serving as support for female-managed families who, as Autism Moms, all too often put everyone's needs before their own! Again, I ask: Where, when, and how does the Autism Mom obtain & maintain her inner calm? By being understood, supported, and encouraged along the way!!! I am here for you:
Autism Better Together!!!
